This is a fabulous quality William IV period silver marrow scoop made by one of the best specialist spoon-makers of the period. It is made in the Military Thread pattern and has stylish decoration along the central shank with an engraved griffin's head crest to the reverse of the larger bowl. This double ended scoop has a good hefty weight in the hand and is in superb, crisp condition.
