Caddy Spoon - Fluted Leaf - Sheffield 1788 by Nathaniel Smith & Co. - 7.2cm long; 7.3g - GR/8677

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is an unusual form of silver caddy spoon that bears early Sheffield hallmarks. The bowl is fluted and shaped like a leaf, whilst the tendril handle is looped over enabling the spoon to balance on the loose end and the deep of the bowl. The spoon is in great condition and although the hallmarks are mostly clear, only the top of the date letter is visible (it shares the same punch as the crown mark).
