It has a beautiful leaf-shaped bowl with engraved veins and a looped tendril handle with a small leaf on top for the thumb to rest on. Considering the fragile nature of this form, the condition of this spoon is outstanding with nothing negative to report. The competitive price acknowledges that the spoon is marked to the interior with just lion passant and duty mark, although a Birmingham maker is the almost certain origin.
