Sauce Ladle - Bright-cut Celtic Point - Cork circa 1800 by Carden Terry - 182mm long; 42g weight - Ref. No.: CH/1139
A beautiful Irish provincial sauce ladle from the turn of the 18th/19th centuries. This ladle has a most attractive bright cut engraved design along the length of its handle and forms a cartouche to the terminal that encompasses a lion crest. The reverse of the handle is clearly marked with "CT" and "STERLING". A fine example of a Cork made silver ladle.
