Irish Rum Label, Cork c1780

This distinctively Irish silver Rum label consists of a bright-cut engraved rectangular ticket with festoon and shield surmount, with the escutcheon never having been engraved. This rare label is marked to the reverse side with "WR" twice for the late 18th century Cork silversmith William Reynolds. It is in fine condition throughout.
