Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fine example of a mid-18th century antique silver table spoon in the Hanoverian pattern.

Dating from the year that George III ascended to the throne at the start of his long reign, this good quality spoon has a nice weight and is beautifully engraved to the reverse terminal with a script monogram complete with additional flourishes. The spoon has a clear set of bottom-struck hallmarks and is in superb condition (just look at the thick bowl tip!) with an excellent patina.
