Sold
Salver - Chippendale Edge - London 1735 by Robert Abercromby - 15.8cm diameter; 2.8cm high; 243g - AZ/5768
This is a great example of a small waiter tray made by Robert Abercromby who was the premier specialist salver maker of the mid-18th century. This 6" salver has a Chippendale style border and stands on three hoof feet. It benefits from having no engravings, nor erasures and is in fine condition with clear hallmarks and a lovely patina.
