Marrow Spoon - Shell-back - London 1766 by Robert Sallam - 22.2cm long; 47g - EN/3819

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A fabulous quality shell back marrow spoon in fantastic condition. This Georgian silver marrow spoon combines a typical spoon bowl and marrow scoop. The bowl and scoop both retain good thick rims and the shell is in superb crisp condition. The heel of the bowl bears "SE" engraved initials of the original owner. The hallmarks remains clear and the "RS" maker's mark is most likely that of Robert Sallam the specialist mid-18th century spoon maker. A first rate example of its type.
