Marrow Spoon - Scoop and Bowl - London 1769 by Thomas Evans & George Smith - 22.8cm long; 50g - UE/1450
This is a fine example of a marrow spoon with typical narrow scoop to one end for teasing out the tasty morsels from marrowbones and a table spoon bowl at the other. The scoop was made by the specialist spoonmaking partnership of Thomas Evans and George Smith and bears clear hallmarks for 1769. The spoon is in fine condition with clear hallmarks.
