Georgian silver mustard spoons dating prior to 1800 are scarce and this is a great example. It bears just the maker's mark for the specialist silver spoonmaker John Lambe and dates prior to the introduction of stub marking on small spoons in 1781 and the duty mark in 1784.
This Old English pattern mustard spoon has an elongated, scoop bowl and dates from the 1770's. it is in excellent condition with no engravings.
