This is a very rare example of a Forres made silver table spoon with fantastic marks for the maker James & Patrick Riach - "Tower", "IPR" "Tower".
This fiddle pattern table spoon has a good hefty weight and and is in fine condition with original antique patina. Original script "GS" initials are located to the front terminal.
Forres is a town and former royal burgh situated in the north of Scotland on the Moray coast, approximately 25 miles east of Inverness.
