Flowery Tendril Caddy Spoon, 1860

This is a spectacular Victorian silver caddy spoon made by the important silversmithing partnership of the Fox brothers - Charles and George Thomas. The cast handle is expertly formed as a flowery tendril and the gilt bowl gives the impression of a yellow flower head. The caddy spoon has a lovely weight in the hand and is in fine condition with clear hallmarks. A great piece!
