Caddy Spoon - 'Goldfish' - Sheffield 1909 by Thomas Bradbury & Sons - 7.6cm long; 14g - PE/9074
A rare example of a novelty Thomas Bradbury silver caddy spoon in the form of a fish. This Edwardian spoon is beautifully modelled as a carp with the tail used as a handle and the reverse side as a scoop. This particular model is gilt (gold-wash) giving it the appearance of a goldfish.
The spoon is illustrated on page 19 of "The Caddy Spoon in the 20th Century". A truly excellent caddy spoon in fine condition.
