Basting Spoon - Fiddle pattern - Exeter 1809 by Joseph Goss - 32.8cm long; 122g - TM/3932

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This enigmatic Georgian silver basting spoon has very unusual features. The fiddle-shaped end of the handle is very slender in form and the hallmarks include a rare makers mark in script which most likely is that for Joseph Goss. The 12.75" spoon is in fabulous condition with a large, generous bowl with thick tip. It is in superb original condition throughout with no engravings.
