Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Made by Hester Bateman, The "Queen of English Silversmiths", this George III silver table spoon is an excellent example from her workshop.

This Old English pattern table spoon bears an original engraved crest to the front terminal and is clearly hallmarked to the underside with London stamps for 1788 and the iconic "HB" in script maker's mark for Hester Bateman.

The condition is superb with a good, thick bowl tip and excellent antique patina throughout. A fine example!
