Table Spoon - Hanoverian Pattern - Cork circa 1760 by George Hodder - 21.6cm long; 59g - YC/5430</p>

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Cork-made silver from the mid-18th century is much rarer than from later periods and this good, heavy silver table spoon dates from circa 1760. The spoon is in the Hanoverian pattern and bears the "GH" mark (twice) of George Hodder and a third somewhat worn mark. The spoons in fine condition, albeit with worn "R.P" engraved initials to the reverse terminal and the very slightest amount of wear to the bowl tip.
