Sauce Ladle - Feather Edge - Cork circa 1790 by Carden Terry - 21cm long; 54g - SF/4859
Irish provincial silver is relatively scarce and this lovely-looking silver sauce ladle was made in Cork by the top maker Carden Terry.
The ladle has bright-cut engraved feather edge decoration running down both sides of the handle and is engraved with an original script initial to the terminal. It has a deep circular bowl for serving sauces and remains in excellent condition with clear "CT" "STERLING" "CT" marks punched to the back.
