This is a rare example of a hand-made, silver caddy spoon by the top maker, Charles Horner of Halifax.

The spoon features pierced and engraved thistles to the handle and a hand-beaten bowl. It is in excellent condition.

This tea caddy spoon made by the arts & crafts silversmith Charles Horner of Halifax who was especially well known for his art nouveau thimbles, hat pins and jewellery. We don't recall seeing another caddy spoon by this famous maker.
