Wine Label - White Wine; Floral Scroll - London 1813 by William Barrett II - 6cm wide; 23.5g - UV/6818
This a fine looking, cast silver wine label in the form of a complex mix of flower heads, foliage and scrolls around the "WHITE WINE" banner title.
This Regency period label has a good, solid weight and was made by the premier silversmith William Barrett II whose "WB" maker's mark is quite distinctive due to the sloping "W" - See Grimwade reference 3033. It hangs from its original belcher chain and is in fine, crisp condition.
