This attractive Georgian silver tea caddy spoon has many pleasing features which includes the fluted bowl with floral embossing to one half and the elegant fiddle-shaped handle with original script monogram. It is in excellent condition and has exemplary provenance.

 

The spoon was originally bought at the Norie Collection sale in July 2004 (as part of lot 356) and is depicted in "Caddy Spoons: An Illustrated Guide" by John Norie as figure 43a. This spoon is one of a number we originally purchased at the Norie Sale in 2004 and have recently bought back.
