Bright-cut Table Spoon, Exeter 1794

This is a beautifully engraved silver table spoon made by the top west country spoonmaker, Joseph Hicks. In addition to its aesthetic appeal it has many positive features including the fabulous condition with a thick bowl tip, a great set of late 18th century Exeter silver hallmarks and original engraved betrothal initials that are dated and match the year of manufacture. A great spoon in tip-top condition!
