Bright-cut Engraved Pap Boat, 1802

This is a lovely example of a Georgian silver pap boat with a beautiful bright-cut engraved top rim. Pap boats were used for feeding infants and the bright-cut engraving sets this example apart from other standard issue, plain pap boats of the period. It is in fine condition with good hallmarks, although the first letter of the maker's mark is worn.
