Sorry, this item is out of stock.

An excellent example of a William & Mary period silver trefid spoon with beaded rattail to the reverse of the bowl.

Amazingly for its age, this 330-year old spoon remains in superb condition with an excellent bowl, crisp beading (they tend to merge together on most spoons from table contact wear), a fine patina and great set of hallmarks. The spoon was made by William Scarlett (W over S mark), who was one of the leading spoonmakers of the period and the high quality of this example is typical of his wares.

A first class example!
