Spoon - Art Deco revival - London 1956 by William Henry Warmington - 14.3cm long; 34g - AG/4198

Immediately after the conclusion of World War 2, William Henry Warmington (Harry Warmington) went into partnership with George Hart to revive the Guild of Handicraft workshop in Chipping Camden. He entered his distinctive "W.H" over "W" maker's mark at Goldsmiths Hall and specialised in Art Deco revival silver through the late 40's and 50's.

This good quality silver spoon has a pleasing simple form with a long rattail to the reverse of the bowl. It is in excellent condition.
