Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Paul Storr was the greatest English silversmith of the 19th century and this competitively priced antique silver mug exemplifies his work perfectly.

The mug has a fabulous look and feel and includes typical decorative motifs used by Storr during the Regency period: fluting, a floral applied band around the midriff, top and bottom rims, acanthus leaf decorated handle and a rich, gilt interior. This Georgian cup has a nice hefty weight and would originally have been given as a christening gift to a child and would still be perfect for that function today as it has the major bonus of not being inscribed.

The condition of the mug is excellent with crisp decoration.
