This is a stunning arts and crafts silver caddy spoon made by the premier Birmingham silversmith Albert E Jones.
The three-shanked stem is tied around the centre with bands of wire and terminates in a ball and the deep, circular bowl retains its original planishing marks. This form of silver caddy spoon is one of AE Jones's finest creations and this particular example remains in superb condition with a clear set of hallmarks.
