The Service
This is a superb 62 piece straight canteen of silver in a very stylish pattern that is akin to Georg Jensen's Pyramid Pattern. It has an Art Deco streamlined appearance and each piece feels well balanced and of a very good quality. The service provides for seven pieces per 8 place settings with additional serving items.
All the pieces are hallmarked for London 1965/6 and marked with the sponsor’s mark of the Crown Jewellers Garrard and Company. Garrard & Company are one of the most prestigious UK luxury goods retailers and have been "by appointment" to the Royal Family since 1843.
The knives have silver handles with stainless steel blades and the forks are the popular 3-pronged variety. This service benefits from having no personalised engravings to any of the pieces.

Presentation
This canteen is supplied in 9 anti-tarnish cutlery rolls. Eight of these navy blue rolls has a single place setting of 7 pieces with the ninth holding the 6 serving items.
