These are rare survivors and a fabulous set of Georgian teaspoons. Teaspoons with openwork stems were popular during the 1770's, but due to their delicate nature are few and far between today; finding a set of 6 in such good condition is quite a coup! This beautiful set are in excellent condition throughout and are appropriately marked with the lion passant and "TN" maker's mark for the specialist spoonmaker, Thomas Northcote.
