6 Cast Naturalistic Spoons, c.1750

These are a fabulous set of mid-18th century Rococo teaspoons. These large, cast spoons have a good heavy weight and first class decoration in the Naturalistic manner. The bowl is formed as a leaf with a tendril handle applied with leaves, flower head and a caterpillar to the reverse side. As often is the case, these spoons are unmarked but from their form and high quality are undoubtedly mid-18th century in date. They are all in excellent condition.
