These are a lovely set of six Victorian silver-gilt teaspoons in one of the most sought after English flatware patterns - Stag Hunt. The handles depict a scene of a stag being hunted by a pack of hounds. The reverse side is decorated with hunting trophies and a mask of a Classical goddess. These silver teaspoons have a good hefty weight, the gold finish remains intact and the decoration is in excellent crisp condition. Stag Hunt pattern was designed and made by Paul Storr for the Royal goldsmiths Rundell, Bridge & Rundell during the Regency period.
