This is a stunning silver dish or bowl made by the most important 20th century British silversmith Omar Ramsden.

The rim of this circular bowl takes the form of a six-point star and stands on three beautifully crafted feet. Each point of the star acts as a handle so that the bowl can be passed around - ideal for sweets and nibbles.

The piece has been hand-wrought, as can be evidenced by the all over planished (spot-hammered) finish. It has a good weight and is of the very highest quality with the trademark "Omar Ramsden Me Fecit" legend arching around the London hallmarks to the underside. This is a fabulous, useful-size silver dish in excellent condition.
