Sorry, this item is out of stock.

Coline Allen was the most important Aberdeen silversmith of the mid-18th century and this silver table spoon is a great example from his workshop.

The spoon is in the Hanoverian pattern and has a good solid feel in the hand. The reverse terminal is engraved with a hound crest and the lower stem with two stamps - the "CA" maker's mark and "ABD" (part worn) for the city of Aberdeen. The spoon is in excellent condition with a fine antique patina.
