Sold
Beaker - Taper Cylindrical; Gilt interior - London 1838 by Charles Reily & George Storer - 9.5cm high; 7.7cm diameter; 165g - NC/1948
This is a very handsome silver beaker with a gilt (gold-wash) interior and typical of the high quality one would expect from this partnership. Dating from the first year of Victoria's reign, this cup fits perfectly in the hand and with its good solid weight has a lovely feeling of quality. A further sign of the high quality is the engraved double-crest. It is in excellent all round condition.
