Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is an excellent quality Victorian silver-gilt tea infuser made by one of the most important silversmithing partnerships of the mid-19th century. It is a large tea infuser – about the same size and shape as a standard egg’s hen – with beautifully pierced crosslets, roundels and scrolls. There is a hinge to the centre and it hangs from a double belcher chain terminating in a hook. The condition is fine throughout and this is one of the best tea infusers we have ever come across.
