Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A superb example of the earliest form of tea caddy. This tea caddy has rounded ends and a base that slides off to enable easy re-filling. The domed cover is typically unmarked and will dispense the requisite amount of tea for a George I period teapot. The main body bears the same engraved crest to both sides, one side also has the full set of marks (maker's mark part worn) and the sliding base has appropriate part marks. This tea caddy is in excellent original condition.
