A rare and highly cherished early 19th century star label in excellent condition. This 12 point star is in excellent condition throughout with clear hallmarks.

According to "Wine Labels 1730 - 2003" edited by John Salter (page 64), Phipps & Robinson are known to have only produced one set of six Star-shaped wine labels. These are marked for 1808 and this example is the Sherry from that set!
