Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fantastic silver-gilt dessert service made by one of the most important silver flatware specialist companies of the 19th and early 20th century. There are a total of 20 pieces: 6 dessert knives, 6 dessert forks, 6 dessert spoons and a long pair of serving spoons with fluted bowls. The handles have a basket weave effect with a rope border terminating in a reef knot. The pattern has a very nautical feel and is similar to the Napier Pattern produced by the rival Chawner & Company.  Each piece retains its original gilding and has an engraved monogram to the cartouche.

This 20 piece service has a gross weight of 1140 grams (850g without the knives which have loaded handles). All pieces are in excellent original condition. Please see below for a matching set of ice cream spoons also being offered.
