Silver Caddy Spoon with Kidney Bowl, 1811 C&B

Georgian silver caddy spoons with kidney-shaped bowls are one of the most highly cherished of all caddy spoon forms and this is a particularly pleasing example.

Made by Cocks & Bettridge in Birmingham, this attractive caddy spoon is engraved around the sides of the bowl, along the handle and terminates with an original script monogram. The handle has fish-tail style shoulders with diaper engraving. The spoon is in lovely crisp condition.
