Wine Label - Sherry; Lion's Pelt Hallmark: London 1816 by Paul Storr Dimensions: 75mm wide x 55mm high
A magnificent example of Storr's famed Lion's Pelt (aka "Leopard's Pelt) label, that was copied from the design of the Warwick Vase. This huge label has been superbly made in typical Storr fashion with the word Sherry being chased on a matted background. The label weighs 38 grams and the hefty belcher chain complements the label for pure opulence.
