Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a good hefty George IV period silver Sherry label with superb vine, grape & shell decoration in high relief. The name is pierced and consequently the marks have been part pierced too, but are still legible. This label is of the very top quality one would expect from this fine silversmithing partnership and has a good weight too. Excellent condition with very crisp decoration.

An identical Port label by the same partnership is shown as figure 336 in "Wine Labels 1730-2003"
