Sheffield Table Spoon, 1823 Whip & Rose

A very fine example of a Sheffield made, Fiddle pattern silver table spoon. Spoons from this period bearing Sheffield hallmarks are relatively scarce and this is a particularly fine example. It is in superb condition with a thick bowl tip and a lovely engraved crest to the front terminal. The reverse side displays a clear set of hallmarks for a short-lived and rarely found partnership.
