Marrow Scoop - Double-ended - Aberdeen c.1790 by James Erskine - 22.7cm long, 41 grams - KS/5656
This is a rare Scottish provincial silver marrow scoop taking the standard double-ended form.
Made by James Erskine of Aberdeen during the later years of the 18th century, this scoop is stamped to the central shank with his "IE" maker's mark. It remains in excellent condition and has nice thick rims to both wide and narrow scoops.
