The Service
This a fabulous Art Deco inspired canteen in the popular Sandringham pattern. The silver all dates from the 1930’s and is contained within a new wooden box.
The service can be laid out to serve 12 people, although we can supply extra matching items on request. Each place setting has 8 pieces with the option to also have fish knives and forks in two cutlery rolls. In addition there is a good range of serving items.
All the pieces benefit from being in excellent polished condition with no personalised engravings. They majority of the pieces are hallmarked for Sheffield 1931/32 (the knives are 1938) all made by E Viner.
Sandringham Pattern
Sandringham Pattern was designed by Viners in the early 1930's and its streamlined form was inspired by the Art Deco movement. It was Viners most successful cutlery pattern and production continued for several decades. Sandringham is the most prevalent and popular of all English Art Deco flatware patterns.

Presentation
The service is provided in a new wooden box. Any additional items would be supplied in either cutlery rolls or loose. The whole service can be supplied in cutlery rolls if preferred.
