The Service

The Art Deco inspired Sandringham pattern is one of our favourite patterns and we specialise in stocking large quantities to enable us to make up bespoke canteens. 

The website price and checkout facility is for the standard 84 place setting service, however in reality we can provide a service tailored to your exact requirements. Whether you wish to have enough pieces for more place settings (for example 18 or 24 sittings etc), increase the scope of available pieces (e.g. additional fish course, coffee spoons etc) or add a range of serving items, then we shall be able to cater to your needs.

All the pieces were supply in Sandringham pattern benefit from being in excellent polished condition with no personalised engravings. They may vary in the exact year they were hallmarked, but all pieces were made by E Viner in Sheffield and are an exact match to each other.

Sandringham Pattern

Sandringham Pattern was designed by Viners in the early 1930's and its streamlined form was inspired by the Art Deco movement. It was Viners most successful cutlery pattern and production continued for several decades.  Sandringham is the most prevalent and popular of all English Art Deco flatware patterns.

Components

The standard 84-piece service consists of the following:

Total weight of weighable silver 3130 grams (100.6 troy ounces) plus 24 silver handled knives with stainless steel blades.

Condition

Excellent polished condition throughout with full length fork tines and unworn spoon bowls.

Plus a range of smaller items are always available, such as Butter Knives, Jam Spades/spoons, Sugar Shovels, Salt and Mustard Spoons etc generally costing between £20 and £30 each.

Presentation

We can supply this service loose or within new navy blue anti-tarnish cutlery rolls. Each roll holds 12 pieces and costs £15 per roll.

As with all the canteens available from our web-site, we are happy to send a sample place setting for approval, on receipt of a fully refundable surety payment, prior to purchasing this canteen.
