Nut Crackers - Queen's pattern - London 1825 by Charles Eley - 150mm long; 182g - LX/3571

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A fantastic pair of rare Georgian silver nut crackers in the highly sought after Queen's pattern. Due to the heavy demands placed upon nutcrackers, finding examples made completely of silver are very rare. To be effective they need to be made from a heavy gauge of silver and at 6oz, these amply fulfil the job!

This pair are in superb condition. The double struck decoration remains super crisp and the two arms bear an engraved crest on both sides (four in all). The hallmarks are appropriately spread about the two handles and central pivot. An excellent addition to any collection of Queen's pattern silver.
