Asparagus Tongs - Queen's pattern - London 1852 by George Adams - 260mm long; 210g - Ref. No.: NF/1910

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A superb pair of Victorian silver asparagus tongs made by the most important flatware makers of the period - George Adams of Chawner & Company. These large serving tongs are in superb condition with very crisp decoration to the decoration on both arms. There is an engraved crest to the outside of the bow. The arms are restrained from over-stretching by a central bar. The two grips are pierced for straining purposes and one has a lip to prevent slippage. A fabulous piece of serving silver.
