This is a very beautiful silver posy vase with an openwork cone decorated with embossed flowers. The vase is complete with crescent shaped handle, finger ring on chain and retaining spike also on a chain. This vase is a rare example from the workshop of the most important Victorian Birmingham silversmith - Nathaniel Mills. It is in excellent condition.
