A rare wine label by the greatest of English 19th Century silversmiths. This large label has the added benefit of a Royal provenance.
The coronet above the name is for the heir apparent - who at this time was the Prince Regent, later King George IV. The Prince of Wales feathers with motto "Ich Dien" can be found below the name. Paul Storr was the premier supplier to the firm of Rundell, Bridge & Rundell who were silver retailers to the Royal family and especially the Prince Regent who was a keen buyer of silver.
