This heavy silver wine label is made up from cast sections of scroll work to form the letter "M" - for Madeira. It was made by the greatest British silversmith of the 19th century, Paul Storr and bears his mark to the edge. The bottle ticket hangs from a good gauge belcher chain and is in fine condition.
