An outstanding pair of Scottish provincial basting spoons. I do not recall seeing a pair of spoons with such thick tips to their bowls - see photos below. The spoon have the additional interesting feature of a bevelled or chamfered edge along the handles. Each spoon bears an initial "Y" and a combination of the "AB" (for Aberdeen) & "GB" marks.
